This is the first amp I’ve ever made and I couldn’t have done it without the leaflet “How To Build A Cigar Box Amp” from Smojo. (If you want one Smojo can be contacted at smojoguitars@yahoo.co.uk) I used a Montecristo cigar box, a Kemo MO32 12 watt amp module and a 4″ 4ohm car speaker. It’s powered with a 9v battery (didn’t want to do anything linked up to the mains while I’m still SO inexperienced!!) I’m going to go buy my first Cigar and I have a question.

First of all i’m getting a Montecristo No. 4, I live in Canada so it’s legal + plus it’s a reputable store so I won’t get ripped off.

Ok my question is about cutting it. I don’t have a cutter and I want to ask the place I buy it if they will cut it for me. But the thing is that I probably won’t smoke it for a couple days after it. Will it be ok if I cut it and leave it?

If you have any other tips for my first cigar please let me know. Thanks
