40 small cigars over 4 years = lung cancer?

I’m 18 years old. For the past 3 or 4 days, I’ve been experiencing what I think might be lung cancer symptoms.

I have never smoked much. Since I was 14, I would occasionally have a Black & Mild cigar. I think that I’ve smoked 40 of these cigars at most during the last 4 years. When I first started smoking these cigars, I would usually inhale. This was a habit for maybe a year. After then, I barely inhaled.

Recently, I’ve had a cough, a strange froggy feeling in the bottom of my throat that won’t go away, heart palpitations, weakness, nervousness, and dull pains in my chest that may just be my imagination.

I’ve been to the emergency room of a nearby hospital a couple of times, but they only prescribed a asthma medication, Advair, and allergy medication. I would like to be checked for cancer, but I’m unsure who to go to.

I’d like a professional opinion. Time is a big factor. Could this be lung cancer?
About the froggy throat. I find myself constantly trying to clear it. Frem does come up, but not easily. And the froggy throat still does not go away. I also sometimes have an indistinct sort of ticklish feeling in the bottom of my throat when I breath. I’m not sure how to describe it.

If you’re a medical professional or have experience with these matters, please indicate.
Went to see another doctor this morning. He said he found nothing wrong with my breathing and that my heart rate was slightly high. Took blood and saliva for testing.

Palpitations seem less severe. Starting to feel small, brief pains around and below my chest and in my upper back. I have diarrhea and I’m eating less.

Smoked my first cigar – help?

Alright, I just turned 18 and my parents bought me a cigar… I inhaled twice and then my dad told me that you’re not supposed to do that with a cigar… That you’re supposed to keep it in your mouth only and enjoy the taste.. well it went through my nose too hahahah! I do not normally smoke and it’s not something I ever want to get into habit with. I did not enjoy the flavor and/or taste of the cigar at ALL!

My questions are…

How long will the taste last in my mouth?
Will this ONE cigar give me cancer ( be serious )?
Is one cigar a year or so bad?
Will this one cigar have enough to make me crave it ( I do not EVER want to become addicted to smoking it’s terrible for you! )

Thank you for your help I’m just worried this taste is gonna last forever it’s been like 15 minutes

Cigar health risks?

Ok heres my situation i had two cigars in college one on my honeymoon one today and this is over the span of around 3-4 years. I like cigars but honestly I wont buy more then one at a time and if I buy them it is very seldom as stated above. If i have one or two a year am I at risk if so Ill dodge em from now on but if not I like them on occassion and wouldnt mind keeping up the habit. Please dont base your answer off what you hear about cigarretes and more off what you know or what youve heard about the occasional smoker like myself. I dont inhale… ok unless i mess up as ive stated im not experienced and i do limit it to no more then once every so often. I appreciate your answers

Only differences i know of between cigars and cigs is that a cigar has as much tobacco as a pack of cigs and i think its minus the rat poison and stuff not sure on that

its too bad this isnt a forum. I understand the analogy you used on poison ivy… but just to throw the analogy a different way exposure to the sun can cause cancer just like drinking too much can cause liver failure but unlike poison ivy in moderation the prior two can be beneficial and safe. Only reason im challenging your analogy a bit is most people recognize poison ivy as even a brush will most likely infect and im not sure if its quite the same with cancer. Thank you for your input though. Please keep it coming people also i (being curious on this) contacted relatives who are doctors who have said as long as its very rare your risk is minimal just to throw that in there too.

Woman smoking cigars, why don't more and what do men think?

This is going to seem like an idiotic question but I was wondering why woman don’t smoke cigars? I know some do, but it’s rare, I’ve never seen or met a female who does.

What do men or what would a man think about a woman that smoked a cigar? Would they think it’s sexy? Smoking cigars is dominantly more of a male’s habit, and so is riding a motorcycle for example and some men just love a woman who rides a motorcycle because its man’s thing, if that makes sense?

I’m trying to word this in a way that makes sense.
